Jim Willett, Cataract Steel's product manager over the Company's shell and tube manufacturing division, has been appointed to serve on the TEMA technical committee. Willett, who has nearly 25 years of experience in the heat-exchange industry, previously served as TEMA's technical committee chairman.

TEMA standards and software have achieved worldwide acceptance as the authority on shell and tube heat exchanger mechanical design. In order to be considered for TEMA membership, a company must have demonstrated years of continuous service in the manufacture, design and marketing of shell and tube heat exchangers. TEMA member companies must offer in-house thermal and mechanical design capabilities, on-site welding and quality-control inspection staff.
